Upstream of the injection molding process is mold design and manufacturing. This first stage is crucial and determines the quality and precision of the final parts. The mold-making technique starts with the mold design. Our engineers work closely with various teams to draw up a detailed plan that takes into account final product specifications, the raw materials to be used, and production constraints. The mold design must not only ensure the part’s dimensional accuracy but also factor in the particular characteristics of the thermoplastic used and its intended use.
Once the mold design has been finalized, the manufacturing process begins. This is carried out on site in our factory or at one of our partner subcontractors. Our manufacturing process uses advanced machining technologies and requires in-depth technical expertise to guarantee mold quality.
Performance and high precision
All molds manufactured by our team are tested in our facilities. They are fine-tuned and adjusted to obtain the desired conformity and best performance. We pay meticulous attention to all design stages, filling simulation, manufacturing and honing to create a mold that perfectly meets the required specifications. Manufacturing a proven, high-precision mold before we even start production is a prerequisite we honor on every injection molding project we take.
Reducing downtimes
Since we have a complete mold-making department in-house, we can carry out repairs, adjustments and modifications directly on site. This substantially reduces production downtime caused by mold rework when required.
